SEA Games 2025 - Esports
ROLE
NSA Assistant National Technical Officials (A-NTO)
Graphic Assistant for Thailand Esport
DESCRIPTION
🌪️My work involves graphic design for esports, including national flags, country names, match schedules, scores, athlete images, athlete names, playing positions, and copyright details for each game competing. And everything was real-time; no mistakes were allowed. If there was a mistake, we had to have a contingency plan ready to fix the situation immediately.
❄️From December 9-19, 2025, we had to prepare images of athletes from 9 countries competing in 4 games, over 200 people, under tight deadlines every day. The work had to be meticulous, checked thoroughly, and there was no going back to make corrections, all while enduring the freezing weather in the air-conditioned hall at Chulalongkorn University.

The budget collected from all parties—including operations, payments, accounts receivable, and financial planning—over the years has been used to continuously upgrade the computer system.
From computers used for online learning and gaming, they are now fully equipped to support each team involved in the Thai esports team.

We work together with full team production

Mr.Gun Lekhakul helped with selecting athlete images and I use ChatGPT helped with the scores. Both of my graphic design computers were struggling, but we had water and food available all the time, and the restrooms were clean.

Remembering the national flags of each country isn't difficult, but doing it this way requires the utmost concentration and focus because there's a huge amount of information. We have to constantly check everything, meticulously reviewing each point within a limited timeframe.
Once a check is complete, there's no going back to make corrections. If corrections are needed, we have a system in place to make the changes as easy and convenient as possible.

What's more difficult than creating the graphic table for the SEA Games 2025 flags is handling the flags and the total scores for each country. We need to prepare our management system to be ready.
If even one point is incorrectly tallied and released to the public, it could lead to objections from the athletes, as it could alter the rankings and affect each country's chances of advancing to the next round.

We use Adobe Photoshop in main graphic program

In working on graphics for the SEA Games, one person has to create line-up images for 10 teams per day, with each team having 5-6 players, as well as promotional images for the competitions. After that, they have to quickly update the scores right after the matches end.

The graphics team has one person managing two computers, each working on a different game, and all my Adobe accounts are being used to their full potential.

They have to monitor both the flags and the score table for the live stream, requiring a much higher level of concentration and meticulousness than typical jobs. Even a slight distraction can lead to a mistake.

For me, this was the most difficult and riskiest graphic design project in esports I've ever done. It's a national-level event, and the entire ASEAN country is waiting to capture screenshots.

One wrong move can change everything. It's quite stressful, and I have to avoid adding to the team's burden. Whether the work meets standards or not is ultimately up to the public's judgment.
